How to register an instructor access code

Getting Started
To register for MyEducationLab
To register, you will need an instructor access code. If you don’t have an access code, Click “Instructor” in the register box, and click “I need to request access.” Once you have your access code, you’re ready to begin registration.
- Go to www.myeducationlab.com and click the Instructor button, in the Register section.
- Click “I already have an access code.” And click “I Accept” on the License Agreement .
- If you have a Pearson account, click “yes” and enter your log in and password. If you do not, enter a new username and password. Next, enter your access code in the box provided.
- Click the button to proceed to registration.
- Follow the instructions to create your account (school zip code required to complete).
- Next, return to www.myeducationlab.com, where you can enter the user name and password you just created in the “Educator” box. Click the login button.
To Create a Course in MyEducationLab
- Select your book from the list of alphabetical titles (make sure you double check the edition number) or search by course on the left. Once you locate your title, choose the “click here” login.
- Search for your course using the “Search by Textbook Author, Title, or ISBN” option. Find your title and choose “select course.”
- Name your course, choose a start date and click “Create Course.” Your course will be created and will soon be available for you to begin using. You will be given a Course ID. This is the Course ID you’ll need to provide to enable them to log in to your course.
To log into MyEducationLab
- Go to www.myeducationlab.com
- Select your book from the list of alphabetical titles (make sure you double check the edition number) or search by course on the left. Once you locate your title, choose the “click here” login.
- Enter your personal user name and password you just created, and click Log In (or hit the enter key).
Note: Bookmarking this page will save you from choosing your title every time you log-in.

Forgot your username or password?
Request your username or password information. This information will be emailed to the address you entered when you redeemed your access code card and created your Pearson subscription.
Update Your Account Information
After signing in, you can update the email address you have on file, change your username or password, or review the expiration dates of your subscriptions.
